Envisioned by The Black Mastermind Group Charitable Foundation, the E3 Tech Zone will renovate a vacant urban core grocery to become a community-based resource for grade 4-12 learners and adults in Kansas City, Kansas. The E3 Tech Zone seeks to support the development of a new generation of Entrepreneurs, Employers, and Employees focused on careers within the growing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fields.
E3 Tech Zone programming will focus on STEM Education, FinTech, Cyber Security, and EV Technologies through the lens of Entrepreneurship. Coursework and supplemental learning opportunities will be offered for youth learners during after-school and summer learning sessions. Adult course offerings will focus on career development and industry specific workforce training.
The design of the new E3 Tech Zone facility incorporates technology labs, flexible classroom areas, a large multi-use E3 Tech Zone Hub, Workshop / Makerspace, Outdoor Classroom, Loading Dock Access, and Manufacturing Workshop with EV Technology Suite.
